Prosthodontists are Specialists in restoring and replacing teeth. Unlike Cosmetic Dentists, a Prosthodontist is a Registered Specialist Dentist who has undergone an additional three years training. Prosthodontists are the only specialists trained to an expert level to restore teeth using Crowns, Bridges, Veneers, Implants and Dentures. They are trained in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry with particular emphasis on comprehensive overall treatment planning and long term care. Dr Saj Jivraj is a Clinical Associate Professor at USC School of Dentistry in the department of Advanced Prosthodontics.

More About Saj Jivraj
Dr. Saj Jivraj completed his dental degree at the University of Manchester in England in 1993 and his Advanced Prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California. In addition, he also completed a Masters in Science Education with a specialty in Medical Education at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California.

He is a former Chairman of Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. His responsibilities included training tomorrow’s dentists in esthetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr Jivraj has published several articles on Esthetic and Implant Dentistry in peer reviewed journals and has presented on aspects of Implantology and Advanced Prosthodontic procedures both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Jivraj is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry.
