Originally occupied by Native Americans, the site that we now call Trenton, was frequented by Dutch and Scandinavians trading in the area with its locals. Later, the site along the Delaware River was granted to a Yorkshire Quaker, Mahlon Stacey in 1679, later in !719, William Trent bought and established the town then renamed it Trenton in 1721.
The state capitol of New Jersey, Trenton is also the seat of state government of New Jersey, Government being the biggest employer in city.
Rich in history and services (Helene Fuld Medical Centre) and also attractions, such as a wealth of landmarks, museums and parks (Hetzel Park), to experience all in close proximity to each other. Downtown Trenton, the city has much to offer visitors and the locals.
